- When people praise you, you will never learn. Find out what people criticize you for. That is where you will learn and grow
- Have you a good idea? Guess what – it’s worthless until it is implemented, it is made to stand the test of time and it generates benefits. Anyone can give you great ideas. In fact, if you look closely – someone already had the idea you just had. Want proof? Try getting a unique, useful, sustainable business model that no one has thought off.
- The best idea is one that you take from someone who already is using that idea. Steal that idea and improve on it. How do you think Steve Jobs made Apple so successful?
- If you are in a partnership with someone and things don’t work out or you get even a remote clue that this partnership is not going to work out? Break off asap. The reality is – things will only go downhill from there.
- If something is too good to be true – it always is. That is why when someone tells you “Make a 6-figure income in 6 months” or “Get 500% results if you take this course” – remember if this idea were so good, wouldn’t everyone in the world be doing it already?
- Never fear the enemy whom you can see. Fear the enemy whom you cannot see because they are the most dangerous. And most of these dangerous people are disguised as your friends.
- ISO: 9001, Six-Sigma, TQM – all these are great processes for improving a company or organization. however, if it doesn’t improve money or profits – what is the point of investing time, effort and money getting all these processes in place?
- People normally create a business based on what their customers want. The best business idea is to create something that you want and that you are unable to get.
- The customer is not always right. Some customers are dead wrong. Some customers are not meant to be your customers. And some customers deserve to be your competitor’s customers. Do yourself a favor – get customers that give you less headache and are easier to keep happy.
- In today’s world, if you aren’t trying new things, learning new things, experimenting with new things and taking new risks – you are not evolving. And that is a sure fire way to become extinct and out of business.
